AFTER SCHOOL CYCLING PROGRAMS IN PARKS
In partnership with Austin Parks & Recreation, Boneshaker Project takes after-school programs to the next level with fitness, bikes, and lots of laughs! This program is free to kids enrolled in the parks program, but it is also free and open to any community youth. Thanks to our generous sponsors, Boneshaker has a mobile fleet of bikes that we bring to each park on afternoons during the school year. Participants have access to bikes, helmets, snacks and professional coaching. Lead by Coach Will Ross, kids learn bike maintenance and safety skills before going on rides and challenging their limits.
This year Boneshaker is excited to be in more parks than ever before. We are at a different park every day, offering the opportunity for kids to move, feel confident, and make exercise and biking a lifestyle. Participation is generally based on skill and interest, ages 9-12 recommended
